Me and my wife are in the royal. We have ordered two separate meals. Both arrived at the same time. The food in both meals are cooked to perfection all home cooked. And fresh. Highly recommend.

This is a proper English pub. The food is excellent and represents great value for money. The hand pumped beer is really well kept and there is a good range of drinks. The staff are friendly and efficient and provide a proper welcome when you arrive. Overall a lovely atmosphere.
Lovely welcome, dog friendly, sausages and water brought to our table. Family get together, all our food very tasty and good value. Such nice staff. Definitely recommend.
Good food, plenty on the plate. Good selection of food to choose from and same for the desert loads to choose from and good portions. It was both clean and welcoming. Staff was polite and friendly. The only thing is parking if you aren't bothered about leaving it on the main road it will be fine.
A very nice traditional style pub. Friendly staff and a good pint. I didn’t sample the food but I will be returning to give it a go in the near future. It is a cash only venue as far as I am aware but I have no issue with that.
